Brett Lyon is a co-founder and active broker at Lyon Stahl Investment Real Estate and a founding member of Team Brettwood, one of Southern California’s leading multifamily investment sales teams. Since co-founding Lyon Stahl in 2014 alongside Woody Stahl, Brett has specialized in the acquisition, disposition, and 1031 exchange of apartment buildings, multifamily investment properties, commercial real estate, and redevelopment opportunities throughout Los Angeles and the South Bay.
Brett advises private investors, family offices, and property owners on multifamily investment sales across Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, El Segundo, Venice, Santa Monica, West Los Angeles, and surrounding Southern California markets. His experience includes value-add apartment investments, coastal multifamily assets, 1031 exchange transactions, and strategic disposition planning for long-term owners.
With more than two decades of real estate experience and hundreds of millions of dollars in closed transaction volume, Brett brings a unique ownership and investment perspective to every assignment. Prior to co-founding Lyon Stahl, he worked at ML Commercial Properties as part of the acquisitions and asset management team, overseeing shopping center investments throughout the United States. His background includes investment underwriting, due diligence, asset management, lease negotiations, investor relations, and capital improvement planning.
A graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in Business Administration and Real Estate Finance, Brett has continued his education through advanced studies in construction management, entrepreneurship, and real estate development.
