Brett Lyon is a broker and co-founder of Lyon Stahl Investment Real Estate, an investment brokerage firm specializing in the sale and exchange of multifamily, redevelopment, residential, and commercial real estate throughout Southern California. Brett brings over a decade of real estate experience, including handling hundreds of millions in transactional volume. Brett’s passion, work ethic, and integrity allow him to provide unparalleled service and market knowledge to clients and investors.
Prior to founding Lyon Stahl Investment Real Estate, Brett worked at ML Commercial Properties, Inc. on the acquisition team and also as an asset manager. He was responsible for managing a large portfolio of shopping centers located throughout the continental US. His duties included investment underwriting, due diligence coordination, investor relations, lease renewal negotiations, and capital improvement project management.
Brett graduated from USC with a BS in business administration, including a concentration in real estate finance and advanced studies in construction management and entrepreneurship. Brett values continuing education and has taken several advanced real estate courses with UCLA Extension. He currently resides in Manhattan Beach, California with his wife, Lesley, children, Greyson and Rylie, and dog, Barley.
